Long-Term Yield Variability of Triticale (×Triticosecale Wittmack) Tested Using a CART Model

نویسندگان

چکیده

Triticale is a promising food crop that combines the yield potential and grain quality of wheat with disease environmental tolerance rye. The objective this study was to evaluate impact genotype, environment management on spring winter triticale variability, using data from 31 locations across whole Poland, 2009 2017, Classification Regression Tree (CART) analysis. It found CART able detect differences in successful growth. variability more dependent soil than because shorter cycle duration, which increases sensitivity nutrient supply weather conditions. Spring also needs be sown as soon possible ensure establishment. A strong dependence availability water for observed. When growing periodic excess especially during autumn early spring, use fungicides growth regulators should taken into account.

Chemical weed control in triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack): review of five years of field experiments.

During five subsequent growing seasons field experiments were carried out at the experimental farm of the University College Ghent (Belgium) to evaluate the selectivity and efficacy of herbicides for chemical weed control in triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack). The experiments were set up on a sandy loam soil, according to a completely randomised block design with four replications. Several he...

Adult Plant Development in Triticale (× Triticosecale Wittmack) Is Controlled by Dynamic Genetic Patterns of Regulation

Many biologically and agronomically important traits are dynamic and show temporal variation. In this study, we used triticale (× Triticosecale Wittmack) as a model crop to assess the genetic dynamics underlying phenotypic plasticity of adult plant development. To this end, a large mapping population with 647 doubled haploid lines derived from four partially connected families from crosses amon...

Evaluation of crossability between triticale (X Triticosecale Wittmack) and common wheat, durum wheat and rye.

Development of transgenic triticale as a platform for novel bio-industrial products is predicated on an environmental biosafety assessment that quantifies the potential risks associated with its release. Pollen-mediated gene flow to related species and conventional triticale varieties is one pathway for transgene movement. A tier 1 quantification of triticale hybridization was conducted by emas...

A comparison of callus induction and plant regeneration from different embryo explants of triticale (x Triticosecale wittmack).

Immature, mature and endosperm-supported mature embryos of six triticale cultivars (BDMT-98-8S, Melez-2001, Mikham-2002, Presto, Tacettin Bey and Tatlicak-97) were cultured in vitro to compare the levels of callus induction and plant regeneration. Immature embryos, 15-18 days after anthesis, were aseptically excised and placed with the scutellum upwards on a callus culture medium consisting of ...

Effect of Two Irrigation Regimes on Crop Water Stress Index and Yield and Yield Components of Triticale (X Triticosecale Wittmack) Cultivars

A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the crop water stress index (CWSI), grain yield and canopy temperature of triticale under two irrigation regimes at Research Station of College of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Darab, Shiraz University, in 2013. A split plot design was used with three triticale cultivars (Sanabad, ET-83-3, and ET-84-5), as sub-plots and four levels of irrigati...
